Although the industry has seen a significant increase in mobile phone production, we are still lagging behind in some indicators. For example, Pakistan imported $ 1.810 billion in mobile phones in the first ten months (July-April) between 2021 and 2022, compared to $ 1.684 billion in the same period last year, an increase of 7.43 percent. .

According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), total telecommunications imports have increased by 14.05 percent to July 22 (July-April) 2021.
