Twitter allows two users to write the same tweet

Twitter is apparently exploring a new feature that allows two accounts to write a tweet together.

TechCrunch News reports that the 'Collaborations' feature has not yet been released. This feature only works after one user accepts a collaboration request with another. It will also serve as a gateway for creators to work with brand advertising companies.

Application researcher Alessandro Paluzzi first dug up part of the application code in December 2021. Paluzzi also saw a collaboration button added to the tweet composer's screen. Paluzzi says only public accounts that users follow can write a tweet. Once the shared tweet is published, it will be shared with followers of both accounts, with the avatars of both appearing at the top left of the post.

Twitter also needs to put in place mechanisms to prevent users from spamming.

The platform has not yet announced when it will publish a co-author's tweets for the masses.
