Windows 11 upload page on MacBook, tab upload in File Explorer

As if Microsoft has finally decided to give its users what everyone wants. File Explorer was eventually upgraded to include the current tabs.

This feature, first discovered in a test build on Windows 11, allows you to enable tabs in File Explorer and has multiple windows in one, similar to a web browser. File Explorer has recently undergone a major redesign of the layout by selling a ribbon interface to make the toolbar layout easier, along with a redesigned appearance of windows and their folders.

In the past, managing and transferring multiple file explorer windows has not only been difficult, but has also affected the workflow, so this secret tabbed window feature can be useful to many users. However, MacOS users have benefited from this feature for many years, which is surprising given how long it took Microsoft to get permissions for File Explorer cards. Tabs can be enabled for users with Windows Insider build 22581 or higher. If you're not already signed up to become a Windows Insider and help you test early versions of Windows 11, we expect this feature to appear later this year in the upcoming "Sun Valley 2" update.

Additionally, you can activate the feature by going to GitHub, downloading ViveTool, opening a command prompt, and entering the ViveTool folder.

After restarting your computer, you can right-click on File Explorer to display the new "Open in New Tab" command. If you get this job, you will not want to revert to an older version.
