Traffic Police wardens in Punjab will begin issuing e-challans from 23 March onward and the manual challan system may be abolished.

The e-challan machine could be implemented across Punjab to make the visitors police gadget more transparent, take away corruption, and enable the unification of all the challan records.

Traffic wardens may be now furnished with smart printers to replace the traditional challan books. Traffic officials revealed that the wardens will generate slips thru a smartphone app and print them with the clever printers the usage of an online gadget for violation of visitors laws in Punjab, which include Lahore.

All the particulars of the violator might be uploaded and revealed, and the e-challan may even encompass the challan officer’s information and beat.

The procurement of smart printers in line with the quantity of wardens in every district is underway, as directed by using the DIG Traffic.
