Proton Saga will finally see it after a year

Al-Haj Automotive is speeding up its local meeting to deliver cars to customers immediately. Autojournal.pk recently announced that the carmaker has begun delivering a large batch of locally assembled Proton Saga units to customers across Pakistan.

The update came on Saturday and was accompanied by a photo showing a crowd of about 60 Proton Saga units standing at the Al-Haj plant.

The tipper noted that people on Sunday began posting photos on social networks after receiving deliveries of their sagas a year after booking.

Notification

On March 17, 2022, Al-Haj Automotive issued an update stating that Malaysia would lift COVID-19 bans on companies, allowing for trade and commercial activities. The statement added that:

Al-Haj Automotive (Pvt.) Ltd. has already begun. local composition and deliveries of Proton Saga since November 2021. We would like to inform [our] customers that deliveries from Malaysia will be streamlined from April 2022, which will allow us to improve the production of locally assembled Saga and mass production of Proton X70.

Proton has been struggling with inventory relocation since its inception. As its competition grows, the Malaysian carmaker is still finding a firm foothold in the market.
