 Prime Minister Imran reveals an early link between rising divorce rates and social media

Widespread obscenity on social media platforms is one of the main reasons for the increasing rates of divorce and sexual abuse in society, said Prime Minister Imran Khan.

These words were made by the Prime Minister in his keynote address at today's inaugural meeting of the 48th Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC). During his speech, Prime Minister Imran said that pornographic material had become readily available to everyone, including children. The rise of destruction destroyed the social and moral structure of society.

Speaking of the recent rise in divorce, sexual crime and child abuse in the country, Prime Minister Imran said the rapid availability of pornography on social media platforms is one of the biggest contributing factors. The award warned that Islamic values ​​are under strong pressure due to the culture that pervades society from social media platforms, and encourages participants to think about ways to protect future generations of Muslims. Prime Minister Imran Khan also thanked the United Nations General Assembly (UN General Assembly) for adopting a resolution condemning Islamophobia and declaring March 15 the International Day against Islamophobia.

The award also criticized far-right governments and politicians around the world for spreading Islamophobic propaganda by linking Islam to terrorism, and called on participants to take steps to reduce Islamophobia.
